Meet Sean Pals
Northwest Director of Catering
Sean Pals leads the overall operations of ACT 3 Catering, Twelve Baskets Catering, and El Koreano, bringing more than two decades of culinary, hospitality, and business leadership to the organization. His career began in hotels, where he advanced into Executive Chef and Corporate Executive Chef roles and spent ten years overseeing complex, multi-outlet culinary programs. That experience shaped his high standards for food quality, innovation, service, and operational discipline.

Sean later served as Director of Food and Beverage for Lisa Dupar Catering, a Leading Caterers of America member, where he helped lead a large workplace dining program for Facebook that served more than 2,200 meals each day across three locations. When the hospitality industry was disrupted by the pandemic, he joined ACT 3 to help the company navigate transition, rebuild, and prepare for its next phase of growth. Over time, his responsibilities expanded to full company oversight, followed by the acquisition of Twelve Baskets Catering and the creation and launch of El Koreano.

While Sean enjoys building systems, developing brands, and improving operations, the part of leadership he values most is helping people grow. He believes the strength of each company begins and ends with its team members, and he takes particular pride in coaching employees as they build skills, confidence, and careers of their own.

For Sean, hospitality is ultimately about trust. Every interaction should reduce stress, create confidence, and make clients feel they are in the best possible hands. What he finds most meaningful is seeing the lasting impact the companies have had throughout the community—from meeting people whose weddings were catered decades ago to hearing new clients describe the same level of care today.
